⚠️Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise has scheduled a weekend full closure of Northbound and Southbound Florida’s Turnpike/SR 91 entrance and exit ramps at Okeechobee Boulevard/SR 704 to allow crews to demolish the existing Okeechobee Toll Plaza canopy and toll booths.

Traffic will be detoured the entire weekend, beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday August 20, to 4 a.m. Monday, August 22, and 2 a.m. Saturday, August 27, to 4 a.m. Monday, August 29. ⚠️

Just had the honor along with Representative David Silvers of presenting a Florida House of Representatives Tribute to 98 year old Sgt Manny Frockt. Mr. Frockt was being honored for just receiving the Congretional Gold Medal. Manny Frockt and the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops Ghost Army which carried out deceptionmissions in France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. This is only the 184th time this medal has been awarded. The first recipient was President George Washington. Thank you for your service hero 🇺🇸
