The Women of Worth Awards High Tea will be held at The Belgrove Resort and Spa on Thursday, August 27th from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

The WOW Awards celebrates exceptional women who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and dedication to excellence.

These honorees are recognized not only by their success in their respective fields, but also for the example they set through their vision, perseverance, and commitment to making a difference while fostering meaningful connections, collaboration, and opportunities for growth across the region.

Our featured keynote speaker this year will be the incredible Desiree Karnis Reavis, Regional Director of Multifamily for Florida at Kastle Systems. Congratulations to the Leadership CPB Class of 2026 on completing their final session!

We started at The Village of Wellington with breakfast, a recap of the Village's progress highlighting new and exciting projects coming to the area, and a thoughtful discussion about property tax legislation and its direct impact on our community.

Next, we visited the Palm Beach County School District, where Superintendent Mike Burke shared an informative overview of public education in Palm Beach County. His presentation highlighted the district's continued progress and expanding educational opportunities, including career and technical education programs.

From there, we headed to Palm Beach International Airport for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. The class watched air traffic controllers in action, toured the control tower, and gained a firsthand look at how the airport's skilled team keeps aircraft arriving and departing safely.

Our final stop was at Joe DiMaggio Children's Health Specialty Center in Wellington, where we toured the facility and learned about the exceptional care and specialized services they provide to families across the region.

What an incredible way to wrap up this year's Leadership CPB Program!

Safety Day with Leadership CPB is always one of our most engaging class experiences.

We started the day at the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Complex, where we toured the jail facilities, explored the capabilities of the PBSO Drone Unit and the Correctional Emergency Response Team, and visited a first-appearance courtroom. The visit concluded with some quality time with the amazing therapy dogs from PBSO’s K-9 Therapy Unit.

Next, we visited Palm Beach State College’s Public Safety Training Center, where we gained insight into the many career paths in public safety, including EMT, paramedic, firefighter, and law enforcement. Our class was able to experience the realities of the job firsthand, from participating in a simulated 911 emergency call to virtually driving a fire engine through an advanced training simulator.

The day concluded at Palm Beach Fire Rescue, where we learned about their record-breaking response times, innovative programs serving our community, and the dedication of the men and women who work every day to keep Palm Beach County safe. Class members had the opportunity to participate in some of the training exercises used to prepare firefighters and rescue personnel, providing a firsthand look at the skills and teamwork required in emergency situations.
