At the Trustee meeting on August 3, 2026 the Huntington Township Trustees presented a check to Connie Dombrowsky from Wreaths Across America for $1,025.00. This was made possible with the funds from the Memorial Day BBQ. The Trustees would like to thank everyone that contributed to and participated in the BBQ making this donation possible.

HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP RECYCLING PROGRAM

Huntington Township is the last in Lorain County to have a recycling program for residents. We are requesting everyone's participation to help keep this service going. There have been issues lately with large items being dumped. Please hold on to these items until the next Dumpster Days on October 16 &17 or take the items to the Lorain County Collections Center.

National Night Out - August 4

The Wellington Police Department is excited to invite the community to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wellington Community Rec Park, located at 145 N. Mill Street.

National Night Out is a community-building event focused on strengthening relationships between residents, local businesses, and first responders. It’s a great opportunity for families to come out, meet members of the Wellington Police Department, Wellington Fire District, and South Lorain County Ambulance District, and enjoy an evening together as a community.

There will be food, music, and family-friendly fun throughout the evening.
