A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this year’s National Night Out such a great success! It was wonderful seeing so many families, neighbors, and community members spending the evening with our officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and all of our local partners.

Events like this remind us that strong communities are built through connection, conversation, and trust. Thank you for taking the time to join us—we’re grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you again next year! 💙

It may be August, but summer fun is coming in strong! Don't let the calendar fool you, we still have plenty of gorgeous summer evenings ahead, and we're kicking off the month with one of our absolute FAVORITE events of the year!

Join us TOMORROW EVENING for National Night Out! It’s going to be a delightful night packed with community connection, delicious food, and fun for all ages.

Here is what you can look forward to:
🍔 Plenty of Delicious Food: Free eats for everyone to enjoy!
💦 Water Bounce Houses: Cool off and bounce around (don't forget swimsuits or a towel for the kids!).
🎈 Special Surprise Guest: We’re bringing in someone extra special with a twisting talent... let’s just say kids and teens will be walking away with some great memories!

A big thank you to BJ's Wholesale Club for their generous donation of ice cream for tomorrow’s National Night Out! 🍦

Tomorrow afternoon, keep an eye out as the Frosty Five-0 rolls through neighborhoods handing out ice cream.

Join us from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Wellington Community Recreation Park (145 N. Mill St., Wellington) for an evening of community fun! We’ll be there alongside the Wellington Police Department , Wellington Fire District, and South Lorain County Ambulance District.

Enjoy food, music and family-friendly activities. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Frosty Five-0 will be there 🍦

The weather siren was tested at noon today. We test the first Saturday of each month during the summer.

Remember the sirens aren't designed to be heard indoors. This was just a test.
