We are excited to announce Mrs. Amie Little will be joining or WU Family! She will be teaching Junior High Mathematics for us next year.

"Hi, my name is Amie Little. As a new teacher, I wanted to share a bit about myself:

I bring both experience and passion to my work in education. After earning my Master’s Degree in Education and stepping away from a career in the corporate world, I discovered my true calling in the classroom! For the past 15 years, I have been dedicated to teaching, where I find deep fulfillment in connecting with my students, and I strive to make a positive impact on their lives. I value the relationships and sense of community that come with a small-town environment and I am excited to be part of Wellman-Union.

Outside of school, I enjoy a full life with my husband of 30 years, who is a pediatric ER nurse, and our two adult children—one currently in medical school and the other attending Lubbock Christian University. In my free time, I love building Lego models, traveling, and spending time at our family ranch near Matador.

Thank you for welcoming me to Wellman-Union, and I look forward to meeting all of you in the fall!"

Help us formally welcome Mr. Edwin Wuthrich to Wellman- Union! He started with us back in March, and we are so excited to announce he will be teaching High School Mathematics for us next year.

He says, "I have 27 years of experience teaching mathematics and other secondary-level courses. My educational focus has been on helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application skills. Above all, my greatest goal has always been to make a positive impact on students’ lives and contribute to their growth into productive, well-rounded individuals."
