Our Story
In 1864, the Wells Branch Community Hall was built as a Meeting House for the First Universalist Society of Wells, which held worship services there until 1908.
In 1910 the Wells Branch Community League was formed to lease the building for use as a Community House.
The League became the Hall's official owner on September 9, 1956. Over the years the Hall has been improved by the addition of a new kitchen, indoor toilets, central heating, and interior renovations.
The Community Hall is available for rent at reasonable rates. Please contact us for more information.
