π§ Highway 22/109 Construction Update β Wells as of 9-1-26π§
Hereβs the latest on the Highway 22/109 project from MnDOT:
πΉ Sanitary sewer work is underway along Highway 109. Residents are reminded not to drive or park on the red bypass hose, as it is a critical part of the sanitary sewer system. Please also watch for temporary water supply lines in the construction area.
πΉ Crews will continue removing spoil piles and extra sub-grade material near 6th Avenue.
β οΈ Upcoming Highway 22 Closure: Highway 22 is scheduled to close Tuesday, September 8 for railroad crossing repair work. Local residents will be able to use alternate routes, including 2nd Street NW and W. Franklin Street. The map included with this post shows the closure area highlighted in orange.
π Local access across Highway 109 at 3rd Avenue will continue to be maintained until further notice.
ποΈ Garbage & Recycling Reminder: If you are within the construction area, please label the top of your bin with your house number and place it at the end of your driveway. The contractor will move bins to an accessible pickup location and return them afterward.
