ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE - Roadway Open

The repair was a bit more involved than originally expected, which has caused a short delay. They are putting down the last few pieces of the crossing and should have the road open by 5:30 this evening (1/18/24).

The representative from Stillwater Central Railroad wanted us to pass along their gratitude for how understanding everyone has been today. This repair was needed for the safety of the trains and vehicle traffic crossing the tracks.

ROAD CLOSURE - 3330 Rd (Fallis Rd) at 1st St will be closed on 1/18 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the latest for an emergency railroad repair. Find an alternate route.

1:00 pm UPDATE: Traffic is flowing normally now.

11:30 - Eastbound traffic on 66 and northbound traffic on 177 is backing up at the 66/177 intersection. If you’re headed this direction, please be patient.

It’s that time of year! Motorcycle clubs from around the world are setting off across the U.S. and through our fair town taking a ride down 66. This group was about a mile long!

Be extra vigilant for motorcycles, give them plenty of room and be patient with these long convoys. Please watch your speed and be careful when entering and exiting Bev’s and other businesses along 66.

A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Lincoln County until 1 am.
