The Wellston Community Library has been open at 301 Second Street in downtown Wellston for almost 12 years. Because our employees are volunteer we are only open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am until 5:00pm.
We have been pleased that parents with children have come to the library this summer and because we received a donation of 100.00 we used this money to purchase a What in America collection, some Box Car Children books, Amelia Bedelia books and some Dragon Master books. We hope to add to the I Survived collection soon.
For the adults we have a new David Baldacci book The 6:20 Man and a J.A. Jance book Nothing to Lose. There are also many other authors that I'm sure you will enjoy.
We have an ongoing book sale at the great price of $.25 per book. Come in and check it out.
If you are interested in volunteering, we can always use you. At the present time Sharon and Emily and Linda are our librarians; maybe you would like to come check it out. Our phone number has changed to 405-225-0954. We hope to see you soon.
