Wellsville Fire Department held its yearly pump testing certifications today by a third party vendor at Station 2. Wellsville 1, 2, 3, and 7 (tanker) were all tested, and passed for another year. Thank you to US Fire Services for completing our testing.

Wellsville Fire Department Juniors held a Training Sunday at the Wellsville Training Facility. Training was aimed towards Wellsville 9 (Ladder Truck). Juniors, and newer members from the engine company did a walk through of the Truck, then reviewed ground ladders, ground ladder set up, hydrant hookups, hooking the engine to the ladder truck, flowing water from the master stream on the bucket, and climbing the ladder. Wellsville 2, and 9 were utilized for today’s training. Thank you to the Emerald Hook & Ladder Company Captains for leading today’s training.

Wellsville Fire Department participated in the Scio Town Festival parade today. Wellsville 1, and 3 both attended the parade today representing the department.
