‼️Exciting News!!! 😮‼️

The First Step Family Resource Center, a program of Ardent Solutions, is proud to host the NYS Dental Foundation Oral Health Prevention Project. This initiative provides young children with essential early‑childhood oral health services at no cost to families. Children under the age of 5 will receive a free dental screening and fluoride treatment performed by a licensed dental hygienist. No dental insurance will be collected, and all services are provided completely free of charge. Appointments are 20 minutes/child.

Robin has been a dedicated champion for families and young children across Allegany County. Her passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to early childhood development have touched countless lives—helping families grow stronger and children thrive.

While we will miss her presence every day, we are so grateful for the foundation she has helped build and the care she has poured into this community.

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We will resume operations on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:30 a.m. Our business hours from May 26th to May 29th will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As of today, May 4, 2026, the pediatrics office at 313 N Main St, known as the Bradley office, is officially closed. We are grateful for the team of Dr. Kassas and Monica Acomb, NP for their years of dedicated service to this community. On behalf of the team, we would like to once again wish Monica the best in retirement and welcome Dr. Kassas to the inpatient team as he transitions to a limited role.

If you have a child with an upcoming appointment, please be reminded that your provider will now see your child at 191 N Main St on the 3rd floor medical village. For questions regarding this transition, please call 585-596-2040.

At WIC, we recognize the stress and challenges of parenthood, and we are here to support you every step of the way! 🫶 Learning to handle stress in a healthy way is good for you, and it helps you set a positive example for your kids. This April, take some time to reflect, model, and practice ways to cope with stress:
🎧Prioritize time for something you love: Take a walk, listen to music, or read.
☮️Practice mindfulness throughout your day: Try learning new breathing exercises!
🏃‍♀️‍➡️Move your body: Regular movement, even short walks, can reduce stress!
