Summer Reading Registration for "Unearth a Story" has begun. Children ages 4-12 years may register at the library, email me at [email protected], or call 573-684-6151 during the hours of 12-5:30 Monday-Wednesday and Friday 10-5. Program starts Tuesday, June 2 at 1:30. Learn about dinosaurs and celebrate our 250 Anniversary.

Summer Reading 2026
“Unearth a Story” is the theme for the 2026 summer reading program. We will be learning about, dinosaurs, family trees, and celebrating our country’s 250th birthday. The programs begin in June on Tuesdays and run through July where they end on July 28. All programs begin at 1:30. Children ages 4-12 are eligible to attend. The 4 year olds must have an adult present for crafting safety. We will have Ethan from the Missouri Department of Conservation presenting a program on Monday, June 29 at 1:30, Mad Science will be here on Tuesday, June 30 at 1:30 and Reading Rita will be here on July 28 at 1:30. Registration begins May 4 and will end on May 22. You can register by calling 573-684-6151 Monday-Wednesday 12-5:30, Friday 10-5 or email the library at [email protected]. Do not message me on Facebook.
When registering please let me know name, age or grade, and t-shirt size.
