Quizás hayan notado que esta página ha estado un poco tranquila últimamente. Me da tristeza compartir que estará en pausa por tiempo indefinido. A finales de este mes terminaré mi trabajo con NCW Libraries y comenzaré una nueva oportunidad. Ha sido un placer servir a nuestras comunidades y conectar con tantas personas durante los últimos cuatro años. Les animo a seguir la página principal de NCW Libraries si aún no lo hacen.

You may have noticed that this page has been a little quiet lately. I'm a bit sad to share that it will be on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. At the end of this month, I will be leaving my role with NCW Libraries and moving on to a new opportunity. It has been a pleasure serving our communities and connecting with so many people over the last four years. I encourage you to follow the main NCW Libraries page if you haven't already.

😷 The air quality in Moses Lake, Omak, the Tonasket area and parts of Ferry County are considered by state and federal standards to be unhealthy for all populations this morning due to wildfire smoke.

All of our libraries in NCW have a supply of N95 particulate masks FREE for the taking. Please stop by a library and pick one up as needed.

¡Gracias al Banco de Alimentos de Quincy por recibirnos hoy y ayudarnos a poner libros en las manos de los niños! 📚 La bibliotecaria de George, Jeana, espera regresar algunas veces más este verano. El banco de alimentos está abierto los martes y viernes de 9:30 a.m. a 12:00 p.m.

Entre las bibliotecas públicas de George y Quincy, las familias del área tienen acceso a la biblioteca durante todo el fin de semana.

Thank you to the Quincy Food Bank for welcoming us today and helping get books into the hands of children! George Librarian Jeana hopes to visit a few more times this summer. The food bank is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Between the George and Quincy Public Libraries, families in the area have library access throughout the entire weekend.

Boxes are being unpacked, shelves are filling up, and the new Cashmere Library at Riverside Center is starting to feel like home. Our team is hard at work getting everything ready to welcome you in, very soon! We can't wait to share this beautiful new space with you, it has more room to gather, browse, read, and connect.

Ayer, NCW Libraries se unío a otras organizaciones comunitarias para compartir recursos con familias en un campamento para trabajadores agrícolas temporales. Muchas de las familias habían viajado desde California para la cosecha de cerezas. Entregamos tarjetas de biblioteca y los niños pudieron elegir libros para llevar a casa.

Yesterday, NCW Libraries joined other community organizations to share resources with families at a migrant camp for seasonal workers. Many of the families had traveled from California for the cherry harvest. We issued library cards and children selected books to take home.
