Through a grant from the Washington State Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program, the NCESD ESIT team recently received tele-mentoring for pediatric feeding and swallowing. NCESD motor (physical therapists and occupational therapists) and speech team participate in this ongoing mentoring partnership that was featured at the Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD)'s networking day, which included posters and presentations from research projects.
NCESD ESIT team Lead Motor therapist, Jannel Burton, co-authored the research with Tiffany Elliott, Feeding Connections and the mentor for our ESIT team. Their research continues to make an impact for the ESIT team and the families they serve.
