Wenatchee Empty Bowls

Wenatchee Empty Bowls Fighting Hunger in our Community
http://www.cdcac.org/ Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to fight hunger, a growing epidemic, across the nation and world.

The idea is that potters, artists, and community members work together to create handcrafted or handpainted bowls, which are then sold or auctioned off at a simple soup and bread dinner for the community. The funds raised go to benefit an organziation that feeds people in need, and the guests each take home their bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. Empty Bowls is an idea that c

ombines compassion with creativity, public awareness with community building. To great success, Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council hosted the very first Wenatchee Empty Bowls event last year and we are excited to put it on again this year and continue to help fight hunger in the area.

Hi friends! Community Action is doing an Empty Bowls this year and we're super excited about it. However, we won't be posting on this page. Since our last Empty Bowls, we've actually created and maintained a Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council page and that's where we will be doing all our posting. So please feel free to like us and stay tuned for updates! We think you're really going to love what we've been working on!

Established non-profit serving the residents of Chelan & Douglas counties offering various services & programs. Helping people. Changing lives.
