Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council was created in 1965 as part of America’s War on Poverty. We are a private not-for-profit corporation serving the residents of Chelan and Douglas Counties. We assist individuals and families to move out of poverty into a lifestyle that promotes a safer and healthier living environment, leading to self-sufficiency. Community Action Council works with other soc

Nonprofit, colleges, government entities organizations of Chelan, Douglas, Grant or Okanogan County are encouraged to apply!

Green Bags came up quickly. Tomorrow morning the 11th we pick up contributions from businesses and Saturday is pick up contributions from homes. Saturday the 13th we start about 8:30-9:00 AM that morning. I will be at our warehouse with a group of our Rock Island Friends to pack it all up. Thank you everybody for donating food. We are really in need and we appreciate it all!
