Salerno conducted it's Change of Responsibility between outgoing CSM Dave Rodriguez and incoming CSM Jason Springer. Change of Responsibility was presided by BN CDR LTC Todd Angstman. On hand were distinguished guests such as Senior Enlisted Advisor CSM, CSM Jose Escobedo, Division CSM, CSM Carlos Diaz, 72nd IBCT CSM. CSM Shane Lindsey, family and friends. CSM Springer will assume his new duty position as BN CSM. CSM Springer and family welcome to the Salerno family.

Salerno always supporting the community. SFC Olivares and SFC Zuniga currently at "Five Below" in Mission gathering donations to provide Christmas gifts and bring joy to children throughout the RGV.

Congratulations, Sergeant First Class Jorge Sandoval on your retirement. SFC Sandoval is a highly accomplished NCO with 20 years of dedicated service to our State and Nation. He began his military career on July 15, 2004 and has since risen through the ranks, known for his unwavering dedication, versatility, and exemplary service. His last assignment was serving as Assistant Operations Sergeant for Salerno. SFC Sandoval enlisted in the Regular Army and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He held various positions throughout his career, Saw Gunner, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Designated Marksman, Scout RTO, Sniper, Platoon Sergeant, Assistant Operations NCO and he deployed to Iraq in support or Operation Iraqi Freedom. SFC Sandoval congratulations on your retirement and future endeavors!
