The Weslaco Police Department is excited to partner with Driscoll Children's Hospital for this year’s Car Seat Checkup Event. This event will help educate families on proper child car seat installation and usage to improve safety and protect children on the road.

The Weslaco Police Department has taken a juvenile into custody in connection with multiple burglaries and a theft reported at King Estates, Largo St. and surrounding areas.

The Weslaco Police Department takes all criminal activity seriously and remains committed to protecting the community. Individuals found engaging in criminal acts will be held accountable.

Our citizens are highly encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the Weslaco Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through Weslaco Crime Stoppers by dialing (956) 968-TIPS (8477) or by using the P3 app. You may be eligible for a reward for up to $1,000.

🚨Missing Person Alert🚨

The Weslaco Police Department is currently searching for 70-year old Jose Luis Suarez from Weslaco. Suarez was last seen on Wednesday April 8, 2026 at about 8:00 PM.

Suarez is know to suffer from anxiety, depression and is diabetic. He is also know to walk in parks.
