ALERT ************* Our agency has received two different reports of vehicle burglaries in the city limits. One report was on Bent Oak Cove and the other was on East Railroad St. Both vehicles had a firearm taken out of them. Both homes had cameras and we are currently investigating. Please LOCK your vehicles and carry valuables inside your home. If you have any information or have had something taken from your vehicle inside the city, please call us at 601-643-2211.

Wesson PD received a report of an individual that has been trespassing on the Railroad tracks inside the city. This morning , 4-23-25 around 8:00 A.M, we attempted to make contact with him at the city park. He fled on foot and we have been unable to locate him. The Wesson Attendance Center was notified because of the close proximity to the school. We don’t believe there is a safety issue to the public, however, we currently have an active arrest warrant for him for trespassing with additional misdemeanor charges pending. IN CUSTODY ****
