Help Assist WAPD...

WAPD is investigating a recent hit & run that occurred around 92nd & Cleveland.

The suspect vehicle, described as a white work van (possibly a Ford Transit), pulled into a driveway when its roof rack became entangled with the resident’s gate and fence. This caused extensive damage to the gate and fence, and the roof rack was torn off the suspect vehicle.

If you know anything about this incident, please contact Traffic Investigator Pete Borree of the West Allis Police Department at (414) 302-8127. You can also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (414) 476-CASH or by submitting a tip through the P3 Tips App, which can be downloaded at:

This morning we welcomed Chico as our August 2026 Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) adoptable dog of the month.

As you can see from the pictures, he was such a good boy and made himself right at home with us as he was given a tour of the Police Department and met many of our members.

Chico is a neutered 73lb Mastiff mix and is believed to be around nine years old.

He is available now and ready for his forever home!
