It is absurd that Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley approved a program to give inmates free tablets. Victims and witnesses are being threatened by the very criminals they should be safe from. If Tom Tiffany is elected governor, then he’ll get rid of this program.

We are thankful to have a strong conservative leader in Bryan Steil! He is fighting to stop socialism from taking over this country. It’s disappointing only eight Democrats joined the Republicans on this resolution. There should have been more condemning socialism, but they’re scared of their own party base.

On Tuesday the House passed a resolution in which socialism in all its forms, including that of the Democratic Socialists of America, was condemned. The vote

David Crowley has raised taxes in Milwaukee County and he still hasn’t managed to close the deficit. This isn’t the leadership we need running Wisconsin. Tom Tiffany will be fiscally conservative with our tax dollars.

Milwaukee County has the HIGHEST county sales tax in Wisconsin.

One of the HIGHEST property tax rates.

And still faces Wisconsin’s LARGEST projected county deficit: $51 million next year.

David Crowley will raise your taxes, blow through your money, and bankrupt Wisconsin.

That’s exactly what he did in Milwaukee County, where he raised the sales tax by 80%, raised property taxes five out of six years, and is still running massive deficits.

Our second legislative candidate we are highlighting is Representative Bob Donovan. Since he was a Milwaukee alderman, Bob Donovan has always been a trusted and tested voice for Milwaukee County. While a lot of politicians talk, Representative Donovan delivers results.

Last session Representative Donovan took action on affordability by working to enact $1.5 billion in tax relief for Wisconsin families. The tax cut included reductions in the income tax, exempting retirement income from taxes, and exempting utility bills from sales tax. He also fought to end burdensome emission testing.

Representative Donovan is also working to keep our communities safe. He has authored new laws to hold criminals accountable. These include laws that raise penalties on reckless driving and an increase in funding for local law enforcement. He had also supported investments in our court system to address case backlogs.

Representative Donovan’s district is the 61st Assembly District. It covers Greendale, Hales Corners, most of Greenfield, part of Franklin, and part of Milwaukee (Alcott Park neighborhood). Follow his campaign page at Bob Donovan for Assembly.

Data centers have contributed to rising energy and water bills as costs are offloaded to Wisconsin families. If David Crowley is elected governor, large tax subsidies given to data centers will continue.
