Lutheran Social Services was featured in a new case study from Lutheran Services in America, highlighting Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan's whole family approach to address behavioral health needs.

LSS' School-Centered Mental Health Initiative identifies and addresses behavioral and social and economic concerns through both direct service delivery and community partnerships, while using data and family feedback to continuously strengthen practices, outcomes and prove value, so they can serve more and more children and families in need.

1 in 3 women experience the birth of a child as traumatic, many of which go on to experience symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Early intervention for children with identified disabilities and developmental delays, and for children at risk for developmental delay can have a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

We are happy to announce that Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan will be featured on the acclaimed show "Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid" this fall!

The episode will tell the story of Yolanda and her daughter Toni who struggled after the death of her older sister. While originally Yolanda thought the program was only to help her daughter, she was surprised to find that LSS Family Coaches help the entire family when needed. Viewers will get an in-depth look at Yolanda and Toni’s story as well as the dedicated team of LSS staff who work tirelessly to make a difference.
