Public run EV charging stations are not free to the taxpayers. There is a high installation cost and then the ongoing maintenance and repair costs.
West Bend is not a high traffic drive through city so EV charging stations are not that necessary. Let private businesses choose to install and maintain them for the public.

Washington County completed the sale of the former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Washington County campus to FaithRidge Christian School on Wednesday, officially bringing the property under new ownership.

The County Board voted unanimously to pass the resolution authorizing the county to enter into a land contract with FaithRidge for the former UWMWC campus. This allows the school to get into the building and get it ready for the fall semester.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved transferring the former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Washington County campus to FaithRidge Christian School through a land contract with the parochial school during a special meeting Tuesday night.
