There will be NO SKATING this weekend. There is lots of water on the ice yet and it is not getting hard enough. Numerous spots of ice water ice. it just won’t work. thanks!

It’s really cold out!! The rink will be closed Saturday. Sunday we will be open 2:30-5:30 no matter what. Come on out and skate. Guarantee the mosquitoes will not be an issue!!

Skating plan today is 2-6. Check back or call 515-887-rink before coming just to make sure. If it gets too warm or sunny the plan could change. We will check it after noon a bit and post if there is a change.

We got the ice cleared off. I only fell through a few times. There is no way to block that many areas off. We will not be open tonight. We will post an update in the morning as to the plan for Sunday. There are lots of spots around the edge of the pond that have issues. Hopefully overnight they can freeze solid and we will be good to go.

SORRY FOR THE LATE NOTICE!!!! As we are clearing the ice there are lots of water pockets and places of not enough ice. They are showing in the not normal areas. We will get it cleared off and post at 4. As of now NO SKATING THIS AFTERNOON!!!

Skating time is here again!!! Weekend plans are as follows: Saturday 1-5 and 6:30-8:30 Sunday 2-5. Come on out and skate this weekend. The ice is as good as it has been all year. Wear tall socks if you can and if you are a new skater remember to just lean forward it works better that way!

The rink will be closed Monday and Tuesday. We will post Friday with the weekend plan. Warm weather, snow, rain, some cold, wind...a forecaster can predict anything this week and probably be right!
