Congratulations to the 2019 West Bend Police Explorer of the Year Imojyn Miller.

2019 EXPLORER OF THE YEAR
On Thursday, February 6, 2020 the West Bend Optimist Club recognized West Bend Police Explorer Imojyn Miller as the 2019 Explorer of the Year.
Pictured is Explorer Advisor, Detective Tom Lichtensteiger, presenting Imojyn with her Explorer of the Year Plaque. Imojyn has been a Police Explorer since 2017. In the past two years she has volunteered over 170 hours assisting the Police Department. Imojyn is a senior at West Bend East High School. She plans to attend UW-Milwaukee in the Fall, and obtain a degree in Criminal Justice.
Congratulations Imojyn! Thank you for your service to the community and best of luck at UW-Milwaukee and all your future endeavors.
The police explorer program offers youth 14-21 years of age to experience first-hand the field of law enforcement. The West Bend Post contributed over 570 hours of community service and logged nearly 150 hours of ride-along time.
