Oh, Baby! These ninjas are ready to crawl!

We thought we’d extend the fun of the Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™ to our youngest demographic… and five tiny competitors answered the call.

Baby Henry of West Bend is taking on four little ninjas from surrounding communities in the inaugural Dirty Ninja Baby Crawl! They each have their own strategy, personality, and approach to conquering the course – but only one can claim the title.
The crawl premieres tomorrow at noon on Visit West Bend’s page.

In the meantime, if you’re out of diapers and ready for the real thing, now’s the time to register! The Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™ returns July 18 at Regner Park for ages 4–15. Get ready to run, climb, slide, splash, and conquer the mud!

The Kettle Moraine EAA Chapter 1158 hosted a Young Eagles Day event on Saturday. Nearly 80 first-time flyers ages 8-17 took off from the West Bend Municipal Airport for a free flight experience.
Designed to inspire the next generation of aviators, the event gave young pilots-in-the-making a chance to experience the thrill of flight - and maybe discover a future passion.
Missed this round? There are still two more opportunities to take to the skies this year: one in August and another in October. Event registration will be shared as the dates approach.

What better way to spend Father’s Day weekend than at Quaas Creek Park?

The West Bend Bulldogs hosted their annual tournament this weekend welcoming the West Bend Thunder and other youth baseball leagues across the state to the competition.

Dads spent their designated weekend grilling, raking, painting lines, coaching, cheering from the stands, and making memories that last far beyond the final inning.

Thank you to all the dads who keep recreation and fun a part of their kids’ lives. Happy Father’s Day!
