We asked one question and got so many reasons.

Walk4Friendship supports Friendship Circle’s year-round programs and helps us keep building a world where everyone belongs.

We’re almost to our $1.25 million goal, and there’s still time to help us reach it!

So now we’re asking you: What would make you walk with us?

A day in the life of an artist, Walk4Friendship edition! 💜

Megan woke up ready for Walk day: breakfast, coffee, the perfect bracelets from her own collection and, of course, Taylor Swift as her official Walk soundtrack. ✨

Then it was off to Walk4Friendship, where Megan walked for herself, for her fellow artists and friends with special needs, and for a community where everyone belongs.

We loved getting to experience Walk day through Megan’s eyes. 💜

Thanks for taking us along, Megan!

We have one more tiny favor left to ask! 💜

Help us collect the Walk4Friendship yard signs! If you have one in your yard or see one in your community - please take it down and return the metal stake to Friendship Circle’s Meer Center at your convenience. We’re open Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM!

You’re welcome to keep the sign for your memories but we are also happy to collect them.

Thank you friends!

There’s still time to support! 💜

Rain and all, Walk4Friendship showed up yesterday. The energy is still here, and we're closing in on our $1.25 million goal. With your help, we can get there.

Every gift helps Friendship Circle continue creating opportunities for individuals with special needs to play, learn, work, create friendships, and thrive all year long.

Thank you to WDIV Local 4 / ClickOnDetroit for helping us share what this day and this community is all about.

Help us cross the finish line. 💜 www.walk4friendship.com

Today, as we celebrated 10 years of the Farber Center, Jeff Farber pledged an extraordinary $100,000 gift to Friendship Circle in honor of his parents, Bill and Audrey Farber.

This incredible gift brings us even closer to our $1.25 million Walk4Friendship goal, but we're not there yet. With your help, we can close the gap and keep building the next chapter of friendship together.

For a decade, the Farber Center has been home to Soul Cafe and Soul Studio, creating opportunities for adults with special needs to work, create, earn an income, build friendships and share their talents with our community.

What the Farber legacy helped build ten years ago continues to grow every single day.

Jeff and the Farber family, thank you for carrying that legacy forward and helping make sure it continues for generations to come. 💜

100 years. One extraordinary soul. A lifetime of purpose!

Every soul comes into this world with a purpose. Today, on Phil Elkus’s 100th birthday, we reflect on how that purpose has unfolded through a lifetime of love, generosity and impact.

Philip Elkus grew up with two siblings with special needs, Florene and Edward, at a time when families had very little support. Years later, he came to understand how different their lives, and his parents’ lives, might have been if a place like Friendship Circle had existed.

So Phil and his wife, Estelle, helped build that world for others.

For many years, their generosity has helped Friendship Circle create the friendships, opportunities and support Phil wished his own family could have experienced. Today, his siblings’ memory lives on shaped by Phil and Estelle’s generosity.

Phil recently shared that one of the secrets to a long, meaningful life is having a good partner by your side. Estelle, thank you for being that partner and for building this incredible legacy alongside him.

Phil, ad meah v’esrim — may you live many more years and continue to receive endless nachas from the lives you and Estelle have touched.

Happy 100th birthday, Phil! 🎈
