Our kindergarteners had a wonderful time showcasing all they’ve learned this year! They sang songs about plant life cycles and the alphabet and shared some of their favorite things they learned throughout the year. We are so proud of how much they’ve grown and can’t wait to see them continue to excel in first grade next year!

A team of fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade students competed in our district’s STEM Olympiad on Monday, participating in a variety of puzzle-solving and critical-thinking events, including Krypto, Spheros, Tangrams, KenKen, Ping Pong Parachutes, and Data Detectives. Overall, our West Bountiful students earned six medals. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off!

Fifth-grade students went on a field trip to the landfill, sewer district, and Weber Basin Water District. During their visit, they learned how water is treated, how recycling works, and how wastewater can be reused to generate power for the sewer plant and even be turned into compost—proving that no matter what goes down the drain it can come back in pretty amazing ways.
