Throughout this school year during lunch at OHHS, something pretty special has been happening. Students have been gathering around tables playing board games and cards, heading to the gym to play basketball and volleyball, and even taking time to sit in the hallway and read books like The Anxious Generation (we promise that was not staged). One of the things we’ve really enjoyed seeing this year is how students are using their lunch time to connect with each other. It has been refreshing to watch friendships grow, conversations happen, and students simply enjoy being together. These simple moments of connection are powerful and are an important part of creating a positive school culture. We’re proud of our Falcons and the way they continue to show that sometimes the best connections happen when we unplug.
