The West Branch Public Library strives to provide outstanding library services to the community of West Branch, Iowa. The library features a collection of 20,000 circulating items and holds over 250 programs each year. Circulating collections include print and electronic books, books on CD, magazines, DVDs, Music CDs, and video games. Other services include free wireless and Internet access as well as printing, copying, and faxing on a per-page rate.

We need your help to give kids an after-school snack every weekday! Once school starts, we go through a LOT of snacks, so all your donations will be gobbled up fast! We need *individually wrapped* snacks, especially granola bars, but we also love fruit snacks, goldfish crackers and more. Just drop them by the library, or contact us with any questions. We're excited to share that West Branch Public Library has once again earned Tier 3 Accreditation from the State Library of Iowa! 📣

Tier 3 is the highest level of accreditation, recognizing libraries that meet rigorous standards for governance, collections, services, technology, planning, and community support.

Accreditation qualification happens behind the scenes on a 3 year cycle, and we've worked hard providing excellent service, being good stewards of public resources, and continuing to grow with our community.

Thank you to our staff, board, city leaders, and patrons for helping make this possible! We're proud to serve the West Branch community!
