The West Bridgewater Police Department honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

On Memorial Day, we remember those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is not a chapter we close. It is a legacy we carry.

Behind every fallen hero is a family living with an empty seat at the table, holding tight to memories and continuing forward with quiet strength. Remembrance is more than a moment. It is a responsibility.

Today, we honor the fallen by the way we live. With gratitude, with purpose, and with remembrance.

The West Bridgewater Police Department is mourning the devastating loss of Massachusetts State Police Trooper Kevin Trainor, who tragically lost his life in a collision last night.

Today, we grieve alongside the Massachusetts State Police and stand in unwavering support of Trooper Trainor’s family, friends, and loved ones, as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Every day, law enforcement officers put their lives on the line in service to others, answering the call with courage, dedication, and selflessness. Trooper Trainor’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the sacrifices made by those who wear the uniform and the profound impact their loss has.

May Trooper Kevin Trainor rest in eternal peace. We pray that his family, loved ones, and our brothers and sisters in blue find strength, comfort, and support in the difficult days ahead. He will not be forgotten.
