🚨 New NJ E-Bike Licensing & Registration Requirements Coming June 26, 2026

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) will begin accepting appointments on June 26, 2026 for e-bike licensing and registration under a new state law.

👉 Key updates:

* Riders must be 15+ years old
* Must have an e-bike license or valid NJ driver’s license
* All e-bikes must be registered with NJMVC
* Helmet required for all riders
* Insurance required only for motorized bicycles
* Registration includes license plate stickers for display on the bike

Emergency Water System Repair Notice

Passaic Valley Water Commission will be conducting emergency repairs on infrastructure that affects the Township’s water supply beginning at 8:00 PM this evening (6/4/26).

The work is expected to take approximately two hours to complete. Residents are asked to limit water usage between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM while the repairs are underway.

If additional time is required to complete the work, an updated announcement will be issued.
