The Trump Administration’s Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr., is stubbornly sticking to his unfounded claims about vaccines causing autism and other poor outcomes. The childhood vaccine schedule that has worked since the 1960s to protect children is being ripped up, and Trump is in the Oval Office stating the completely disproven claims about autism and that dividing the MMR series into five separate shots rather than one will ‘save lives’. Unfortunately this political decision is COSTING LIVES. We need a Democratic Congress and legislators to fix this. Josh Shapiro is right to push back against this nonsense, and Chrissy Houlahan has also called out the GOP vaccine policy disaster. They both deserve our votes this November 3rd.

Thank you, Governor Josh Shapiro for taking this stand against greedy data center developers and big tech companies attempting to build out infrastructure in the state that will harm the environment and ultimately lead to higher energy rates for everyone. This executive order reflects the desires of PA residents to have the strictest regulations possible and give local communities the tools to stand up and control the outcomes that affect their quality of life.

BREAKING: I just signed an Executive Order implementing the strictest standards in the nation for AI data centers — because I will not allow Pennsylvanians to be bullied by greedy developers and bulldozed by the lawyers working for these big tech companies.

Effective immediately, we’re requiring AI data centers to commit to strict environmental and transparency requirements AND receive approval from the local community if they want to build here.

That’s not all: We’re also removing ALL data centers from our Fast Track permit program and stopping any office or agency under my jurisdiction from signing an NDA with AI data center developers.

I’m putting these developers on notice and letting them know that we will not let them bully Pennsylvanians, disregard our constitutional right to clean air and pure water, and drive up our utility bills.

I’m using the full weight of my executive authority to block the objectionable, unwarranted projects and put the nation’s strictest set of protections in place.

While Donald Trump worries about the fate of his ballroom, his arch, the Reflecting Pool, his face on currency and government building banners, and all of the gold gilding in DC, ordinary Americans are actually struggling to pay for groceries, gas, healthcare, and housing. Democrats have plans to improve these for Americans. Will Republicans get off their hands and finally see that Trump has no policy agenda to help anyone except to enrich himself and his billionaire friends?

On July 30, 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Medicare bill into law. This significant legislation established a health insurance program specifically for elderly Americans, marking a pivotal moment in U.S. healthcare policy. Medicare was for people 65 and older who could afford Medicare and supplement payments.

Medicaid provided health coverage for low-income individuals, included in the same legislation.

The signing took place at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library in Independence, Missouri. Former President Harry Truman was honored as the first Medicare beneficiary, receiving the first Medicare card during the ceremony.

Today both programs, along with Social Security itself, are under attack by radical MAGA forces who seek to strip older Americans of healthcare and security. If you think this is inhumane, you have a choice. Vote Blue!
