Global conflicts, trade wars, and ICE deportations might feel far away, but they are hitting Chester County kitchen tables right now. Between skyrocketing fuel costs driven by the Iran war, retaliatory tariffs cutting off dairy and crop exports, and fearful farm workers staying away from the job with no one else willing to do the hard work, our local family farms are in a tight squeeze. To make matters worse, Washington's multi-billion dollar bailouts are heavily skewed toward massive corporate operations, leaving our smaller, diversified PA farms behind.
It’s time to back the people who feed us. 🧑🌾
