Ticks can transmit multiple diseases with a single bite. To prevent tickborne disease:

☑️Avoid tick habitats like grassy or wooded areas

☑️Wear long pants tucked into tall socks

☑️Wear an EPA-approved repellent

☑️Carefully check all over the body for ticks and remove any ASAP

If you experience symptoms of tickborne illness (fever, rash, muscle/joint aches, fatigue) check in with your doctor.

While summer is upon us, its never too early to think fall, cooler temps and ghost stories!
The EGT-WGT America250 committee is opening up registration for the Goshenville Ghost Walk on June 10th…that’s tomorrow!

The Ghost Walk takes place at the EGT Blacksmith Shop, built in 1740 and rumored to be haunted. The event starts with a stroll down the Ridley Creek boardwalk, with Chester County ghost stories brought to life by local actors. You’ll then head into the Blacksmith Shop and ghost hunt with the Chester County Paranormal Society. This is a kid friendly event, slightly scary and very entertaining.
