Meet the 2026-2027 WCU Division:

This past week, we held our first monthly meeting where our new members were able to get to know each other and become oriented with our club, it’s leadership, and discuss our goals for this year. We were also able to plan our staffing, and plan various training opportunities to further prioritize our campus & surrounding community.

We are kicking off this year with 22 members. More than 15 of whom are currently certified EMT’s, Advanced EMT’s, or testing imminently to achieve these certifications.

This year our club is led by:

Valera Monaco - Treasurer

Welcome back to campus !

What better way to kick off move in weekend than with the annual first responder meet and greet…. Among many other festivities.

Feel free to swing by and say hi to our members and see what WCU EMS has to offer. We are also joined by our friends at the West Chester Borough Fire Department

We would like to highlight one of our members on an amazing achievement. Last night, Paramedic Joe Trimbur graduated from Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute’s Paramedic training class of 2025-2026.

Joe has been an active member of WCU EMS for the past 3 years as he pursues his pre med education at WCU, and has served as our training Coordinator, and our Heart-Safe Campus Coordinator.

Congratulations Joe, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

This past week, the WCU Division attended multiple medical standby events for commencement ceremonies for all of WCU and DCCC students.

We’d like to give a special shout out to former OPS Chair, and current EMT Anthony Lawson, who is graduating from DCCC’s nursing program today. Anthony has been instrumental in the success of our club. After today, he will go on to additional schooling at WCU in pursuit of his BSN.

Congratulations Anthony, and all graduates in the class of 2026!
