Think this is gross? Imagine finding hundreds of tick eggs hatching in your own yard.

It’s tick season in Chester County, and right now female ticks are laying thousands of eggs in shaded yards, leaf piles, tall grass, and wooded edges.

Here’s how to protect your yard from ticks:
✅Keep grass short and trim overgrown brush
✅Remove leaf litter and wood piles where ticks thrive
✅Create sunny, dry areas – ticks love moisture and shade
✅Add mulch or gravel barriers between wood and lawn
