Over the summer, 300 local children in foster care found their brand new backpacks for the school year at Hope's Closet. They also chose a pair of shoes, a jacket, and a few fresh outfits to start the year. Wishing a great year to all students and teachers!

When it comes time to dance, are you hoping for a live band or a DJ?
This is one of many important decisions we need to make as we start planning for Hope in Bloom 2027, and we'd love to hear your thougths! Oh, and mark you calendar for April 10th for an event we think gets better every year!

We have an opportunity for teens to get service hours this afternoon until 7pm. Come by any time. Will mostly be hanging clothes.

Help us wish two of our volunteers Josh and Michael the best of luck as they progress toward their goal of becoming doctors! While students at Xavier University they provided SO much help and brought so much FUN to the boutique! They were donation sorters and shopping assistants, but also helped Tosha with heavy lifting and improving organization processes. They arranged for XU students in a group called Raising Joy to help with boutique changeover and Winter Wonderland, and were always willing to do literally ANYTHING to help us out--even put up our HUGE Christmas tree or jump into a donation bin for a picture! We joke that whenever we put their pictures on social media, donations would pour in!

We are beyond excited for their futures, but we will all miss them terribly! Michael is off to the Medical College of Wisconsin and Josh will be working at Children’s Hospital then attending med school. Thank you both for your many years of service to the kids in our community! We know you will continue to touch the lives of many more people as you pursue your careers in the medical field!

Our friends at Loveland Christian Church made Hope's Closet the mission focus for Vacation Bible School this summer, introducing children and families to the needs of foster care. They donated hundreds of pairs of socks, clothing, pillows with handmade pillow cases, quilts and blankets, crayons, and toiletries to our boutique and made a generous financial contribution to our mission. They are long-time supporters of Hope's Closet and we are very grateful for their partnership!
