University Libraries will hold an official collection dedication ceremony for Postmodern Dystopia and Hope: The James Brickley Collection on September 23, 2026. Festivities include a dedication ceremony, literary reading, and a brief open mic in FHG Library Room 252.

The gathering will be a moment to celebrate Jamie Brickley’s memory, the power of storytelling, mental health in our community, and the power of collective community building.

Jamie Brickley is the author of Alchemy of Strangers (2012). Jamie posthumously graduated from West Chester University in Spring 2015 with a BA in English.
