September is National Preparedness Month. FEMA's Ready Campaign has observed this month since 2004 to encourage Americans to prepare for emergencies. We'll be sharing tips and resources all month.

Among the many resources on Ready.gov is a fillable Family Communication Plan, which helps families outline how they will connect with one another if they become separated during an emergency. Recognizing that some residents may prefer not to enter personal information into an online form, the East Bradford Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) has developed an Excel-based Family Communication Plan template. This easy-to-use document allows you to create and securely store your family’s emergency contact information, meeting locations, and other essential details on your own computer.

Shakespeare finally comes to East Bradford Park on Friday, September 25th at 5:00 pm!

Happy 1st day to the students of the West Chester Area School District. Let's keep them safe!

On roads with two lanes, two lanes with a center turn lane, or multi lanes, all vehicles travelling in either directions must stop.

On divided highways (by a barrier of dirt, grass, or median), vehicles behind the bus must stop. Vehicles travelling in the opposite direction should use caution.

The America250 drone show is being rescheduled for Thursday, September 3rd at Exton Park. A 6:30 pm concert by Yesterday's News Band will precede the drone show. Its a free event, including the drone show, and anyone who bought tickets to the originally scheduled West Chester drone show will be given VIP parking and seating for this event, plus will have access to a VIP goody station! Hope to see many people there as we bring a fitting close to the summer of America250!

Highland Ave will be closed on Tuesday, August 18, between 322 and Brookworth. Kehoe Construction, working for PECO, will be repairing the trenches from the new gas main.

The Township building will be without water this Thursday, so we will be closing for the day. We will resume normal office hours on Friday.

The 2026 Summer Concert Series at East Bradford Park closes tonight, Sunday, August 9th (7:00-8:30 pm) with a performance by the crowd-pleasing father/son duo of Achilles' Heart! They always put on a great show and we hope to have a lot of people in the park tonight, enjoying a free summer concert!
