๐๐ข๐ช๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ข๐ก๐ฌ, ๐ง๐ซ - On Friday, July 10th, 2026, at approximately 8:51 AM, Precinct 4 Deputies were patrolling in the area of SH-6 near Savannah Parkway in Iowa Colony. In doing so, Deputies observed a Dirt Bike, occupied by 2 individuals, traveling westbound on SH-6.
Deputies attempted to catch up to the Dirt Bike, where it turned on Louisiana Street. As Deputies caught up to the bike, the riders conducted a U-turn and failed to yield, prompting a pursuit. The riders returned to SH-6 before turning into a field attempting to lose the Deputies off road. The Deputies eventually lost sight of them.
A short time later, Brazoria County Sheriffโs Deputies located the dirt bike near SH-6 and Savannah Parkway. The riders continued west down SH-6 and into Fort Bend County. By this time, several additional units had entered the pursuit.
The riders continued west on SH-6 before reaching Teal Bend Blvd where an attempt was made to box in the Dirt Bike. The dirt bike then struck a curb, causing it to be disabled. The driver began running on foot across SH-6 before being taken into custody. The female rider was also taken into custody and later found to be in possession of handgun that was reported stolen out of Houston Police Department. She also showed to have 5 active warrants for her arrest, with 2 being felonies for Abandon/Endangering a Child.
Both riders were transported to Memorial Hermann in Pearland to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash and later transported to the Brazoria County Jail.
The male was charged with,
-Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle
-Evading on foot with previous convictions.
On top of her warrants, the female received additional charges for
-Theft of a Firearm
-Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.
We would like to give shoutouts to Texas Department of Public Safety, Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, and the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office for their assistance in apprehending these individuals. Working together helps us build a stronger, more successful team.
