The subject was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Possession of a Fi***rm by Persons Unlawful, Possession With the Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.

We would like to share our results of Operation Southern Slow Down. The majority of traffic collisions are caused by speed and we always encourage drivers to take your time, drive within the speed limit and be responsible when getting behind the wheel.

Operation Southern Slow Down begins tomorrow, July 13, 2026 and continues through July 19, 2026. The South Congaree Police Department will be joining other agencies across the Southeast for this regional traffic safety campaign focused on reducing speed related crashes through education and enforcement!

Always remember to be mindful of your speed and drive safely.
