🎉We’re excited to share that we’re giving our Wellness Plans a fresh new look coming early 2027! 🎉

As part of our commitment to continually improving the care and experience we provide to our patients and their families, we’ve been working behind the scenes to revamp and enhance our Wellness Plan offerings. We’re looking forward to sharing more about these updates with you soon!

❗️As we prepare to introduce our new Wellness Plans, there is one important change we want to make you aware of: Current Wellness Plans will no longer automatically renew.❗️

If you currently have a Wellness Plan, there’s no need to worry — your existing plan and its benefits will remain active through the end of your current contract term. Your current coverage and benefits will not be affected by this change.

Once your current contract term ends, your plan will simply expire rather than automatically renewing. If you would like to participate in one of our new Wellness Plans, you will need to actively enroll and sign a new Wellness Plan agreement. You will not be automatically enrolled in a new plan.

If you’re currently enrolled in a Wellness Plan but aren’t sure when your contract term ends, please give our team a call at (803) 794-6550, and we’ll be happy to help you determine your plan’s end date.

Our new Wellness Plans will feature an updated experience designed with you and your pet in mind. We’re excited about the changes ahead and look forward to sharing more details about the new plans, benefits, and enrollment options as we get closer to launch.

For now, if you have a current Wellness Plan, no action is required. You can continue using your existing plan and benefits as you normally would through the end of your current contract term.

If you’re not currently enrolled in a Wellness Plan, stay tuned! We’ll be sharing more information about our new Wellness Plans and how you can enroll once they become available.

Thank you for trusting Van Crest Animal Hospital with your pet’s care. We’re grateful to be part of your pet’s health journey and are excited to continue finding new ways to support you and your pets.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at (803) 794-6550.
We can’t wait to share what’s next!

☀️Hot days call for extra care! Keep your pets safe this summer by remembering a few simple tips:
🐾 Never leave them in a parked car—even for a minute.
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water.
🌅 Walk during the cooler morning or evening hours.
🔥 Avoid hot pavement to protect sensitive paws.
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade and cool places to rest.

Watch for signs of heatstroke like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these symptoms, seek veterinary care right away.

Stay cool, stay safe, and enjoy the summer together! 🐶🐱❤

🐶❤️Happy National Mutt Day!

Today we're celebrating the one-of-a-kind mixed-breed pups who fill our lives with unconditional love, endless laughter, and plenty of tail wags. Every mutt has a unique story, and we think that's what makes them so special.

Share a photo of your favorite mixed-breed companion in the comments—we'd love to see them! 🐾
