🇺🇸 Summer Break Doesn’t Mean Taking a Break from Service! 🇺🇸

While 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 is on summer break (July-August) from our chapter-level meetings, that doesn’t stop the business of DAV or our commitment to serving Veterans.

Our members recently attended the DAV Annual National Convention in Orlando, Florida, joining Comrades from chapters across the country. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, share ideas, and stay informed about the issues that matter most to Veterans and their families.

The work continues, and Chapter 20 remains committed, engaged, and ready to serve!

Cool-umbia Beat the Heat! 🇺🇸

The 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 was proud to support the Cool-umbia Beat the Heat event at the SC Military Museum this past month!

We enjoyed connecting with our community and sharing information about DAV Volunteer Service and how we support Veterans and their families.

🇺🇸💈 Serving Veterans, One Cut at a Time! 💈🇺🇸

The 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 was proud to support the VA Male Health Veteran Health Fair by providing a licensed barber to offer free haircuts to Veterans.

We believe supporting Veterans means showing up when there’s a need. Whether it’s health and wellness, community outreach, or simply helping a Veteran feel their best, Chapter 20 is committed to being there.

We will continue to support events and initiatives that serve our Veterans and their families.

When there’s a need, Chapter 20 will show up! 🇺🇸💪

⚾🇺🇸 We Finished the Season with a Bang! 🇺🇸⚾

The 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 came out strong for our final Fireflies Baseball Fundraiser game of the season, with 19 volunteers showing up to work the concession stands!

It was a great night filled with comradeship, fellowship, and plenty of fun, all while serving our community and supporting a great cause. That’s what the 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 is all about: showing up and making a difference!

A huge shout-out to our 1st Junior Vice, Comrade Mike Young, for spearheading this initiative throughout the entire year. Your leadership and dedication helped make this fundraiser a success! 👏🇺🇸

Since June 2025, the 92nd Buffalo Chapter 20 has proudly hosted our monthly Happy Place event at the Warriors Walk hallway in the VA Dorn Community Life Center.

🇺🇸 Fellowship, Learning & Community! 🇺🇸

92 Buffalo Chapter 20 was honored to join several DAV Chapters from District II in the Columbia area for a special tour of the South Carolina Military Museum as we celebrate 250 years of the United States.

Comrade Donna Winkler organized a wonderful event that gave us the opportunity to learn, fellowship, and share valuable resources with one another. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal together while receiving important information from Humana Representative Ms. Opal Clark and Mr. Bobby Gamble from the Alston Wilkes Society Homeless Center.

It was truly a meaningful and enjoyable day filled with camaraderie, education, and community connection.

A special thank-you to Comrade Donna Winkler for organizing such a wonderful event and bringing our DAV family together! 🇺🇸
