🐰🐣Today the Parks and Recreation Council hosted its annual Egg Hunt and Bonnet Contest, and it was a total whirlwind of candy, toys, and happy faces! I want to extend a huge thank you to the volunteers who work so hard to make this a memorable tradition for our families. It was also a treat to host the festivities at the beautiful new Pavilion at MacKenzie Park for the very first time! 🌷

It was such an honor celebrating Women’s Month alongside the Business and Professional Women of Greater Conshohocken! Sharing the stage with the unforgettable Mayor of Ambler, Jeanne Sorg, made the event even more special.

We dove into two of my favorite topics: West Conshohocken and the heart of public service. I truly believe that leadership starts with authenticity—simply showing up as yourself and giving your time and energy to your community.

We recognized the trailblazers before us to celebrate how far we've come and to remind ourselves why representation in every profession still matters so deeply today.

Congratulations are in order today for PM Group. Brendan O’Connell, Senior Vice President, PM Group - USA, and General Manager, Operations and I cut the ribbon on their new expanded office location in West Conshohocken.

❄️Well, it’s snowing again neighbors.

Couple of announcements: 📣

Trash will be collected Tuesday and Wednesday this week (one day later than usual) Bulk trash will be collected on Thursday.

Zoning hearing board meeting for Monday is cancelled. Open Space meeting for Monday is cancelled. Stay tuned for when these will be rescheduled.

Please do not throw snow into the street when you are clearing your car, sidewalk or driveway. This is a big help to our Public Works Crew. Please keep fire hydrants clear.

Speaking of clearing snow, please be careful when shoveling. This is a heavy snow and trying to shovel it can bring on an increased heart rate. Stop immediately if you experience chest pain, dizziness, lightheadedness, or heart palpitations. If possible take breaks, recruit a teenager or ask for help.
