With the new school year underway, it’s a great time to refresh an important habit for every student and family: think before you click!

Phishing messages can look like they’re coming from a teacher, school, district, or someone you know. Before clicking a link, opening an attachment, or sharing information, pause, think, and verify.

Never share passwords or verification codes, and if something seems suspicious, check with a trusted adult or school staff member.

Together, we can help our students stay safe, smart, and confident online.

Curtains Up! STAGE is Growing Into Middle School! The show goes on at WCUSD! Since 2022, our beloved STAGE program has helped elementary students discover their love of theater, build confidence, and shine in the spotlight. Now, we’re thrilled to introduce STAGE 2, bringing that experience to our middle school students!

This fall, Hollencrest Middle School will take the stage with Disney’s Dare to Dream, followed by a spring production from Walnut Grove Intermediate School. Both schools will rehearse on their campuses before performing at our new WCUSD Performing Arts Center.

With STAGE 2, our students now have a performing arts pathway that can carry them from their first elementary production through middle school and into our high school programs.

To the students and families who asked us to keep the music playing, we listened. We can’t wait to see our middle school performers take the stage!
