Mt. SAC Early College Academy Recognized at the National Blue Ribbon School Ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Superintendent Dr. Flores, Principal Dr. Ryan McDonnell and Counselor Claire Contreras proudly represented Mt. SAC Early College Academy at the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Schools Award Ceremony on November 8 in Washington, D.C. hosted by the U.S. Department of Education. The event celebrated Mt. SAC Early College Academy’s distinction as an Exemplary High Performing School—an honor earned by only 30 public schools in California and 356 schools nationwide in 2024.
This recognition places Mt. SAC Early College Academy among an elite group of schools dedicated to academic excellence, innovative practices, and the relentless pursuit of student success. The Blue Ribbon award not only acknowledges Mt. SAC Early College Academy’s high standards and outstanding academic performance but also serves as a proud symbol of the school’s commitment to nurturing an inclusive, supportive, and high-achieving learning environment.
This award is a testament to the collective efforts of our Board of Trustees, students, staff, and families, whose commitment and support have been instrumental in reaching this level of excellence.
