On Wednesday, August 12, Mike Wagner of 716 Electronic Recovery, led a hands-on workshop for children ages 6-14 to learn about waste, plastic, non ferrous metals, and data. Ages 6 and 7 manually operated a screw driver to unscrew keyboards and ages 8 and up helped dismantle computers with various tools. The kids were fascinated and enjoyed the evening! Thank you Mike!

Griffin Brady of Slyboots School of Music, Art & Dance in East Aurora mesmerized the participants at a workshop held Sunday at the West Falls-Colden Community Library. He engaged his participants through his storytelling told through rhythm and hands on participation with drums and percussion instruments.

Happy Book Lovers Day! There's never a bad time to visit your local library and discover a new favorite book, explore a new topic, or simply enjoy a place to read.

I'm grateful to the West Seneca Public Library, Aurora Town Public Library, Elma Public Library, West Falls - Colden Community Library, and the Hulbert Library of the Town of Concord for being such valuable resources in our communities. Thanks to the dedication of their staff, visitors of all ages have the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover something new through each library's extensive collection of books and resources.
