A YES vote on Question 2 ensures we are prepared for the districtโ€™s long-term growthโ€”without requiring another bond referendum in the near future. These funds will only be accessed as needed, but early authorization allows for strategic, cost-effective planning to meet future demands.

With continued housing development and projected enrollment growth, an additional elementary school between Deer Creek and Heritage Middle School is expected to be necessary within the next 6โ€“10 years. Securing funding now ensures we are ready when the time comes.

Many of our elementary schools require upgrades to provide dedicated spaces for art, music, health, conference rooms, and educational breakout areasโ€”enhancing learning experiences for all students.

While Question 1 provides a second location for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Question 2 expands access further by adding a third locationโ€”ensuring that each feeder system has a dedicated site, allowing our youngest and most vulnerable students to learn closer to home.

Purchasing land in advance is far more cost-effective than waiting until itโ€™s urgently needed, when prices are significantly higher. Question 2 authorizes the acquisition of land for future schools, allowing us to plan wisely and save taxpayer dollars.
