📅 ALERT:
The West Fargo Police Department is excited to announce a new, revised plan for the annual Night to Unite event, scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 4. This year, the department is inviting community members to host and register their own neighborhood block parties, cookouts or casual gatherings from 5-7:30 p.m.
During this time, first responders from the West Fargo Police and Fire Departments will visit the registered block parties. Official event registration is now open and can be completed through the department’s website by visiting: https://ow.ly/Pslq50Z7ioY
“Night to Unite is a great opportunity for our officers to interact with the public and highlight the great partnerships we have throughout our community,” said Chief Pete Nielsen. “We decided to give this annual event a refresh and focus on more intentional conversations in the hearts of our West Fargo neighborhoods.”
Once neighborhoods have registered with the department, their location will be added to a public list. A party packet will be available for pickup in early July, which includes a Night to Unite newsletter, resources and materials to share with neighbors and details about a chalk art contest. Registered block parties will also receive a Night to Unite yard sign.
