Join the West Fargo Park District and Prairie Pup Bakery for an evening celebrating our favorite four-legged friends!

Bring your pup out for a fun-filled night featuring dog pools, contests, vendors, giveaways, crafts, and plenty of opportunities to make new furry friends. 🐾

🍦 Prairie Pup Bakery will be serving FREE Birthday Cake Flavor Ice Cream to the first 50 dogs! Made fresh in-store, this special treat is the perfect way to celebrate a night that's all about the pups.

🐾 Please remember that all dogs must remain on a leash, and pet parents are responsible for cleaning up after their furry friends.

Red River Rugby League registrations are NOW OPEN for K–6th grade youth!

In partnership with Red River Youth Rugby, this four week league introduces participants to the exciting game of tag rugby through fun drills, games, and skill building activities.

Why rugby?
✅ Build confidence
✅ Learn teamwork and leadership
✅ Stay active and have fun
✅ Make new friends

Participants will receive a season T-shirt and experience the unique culture of rugby built on integrity, camaraderie, inclusivity, confidence, and respect.

Calling all boys & girls entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade! 🙌 Get ready for a season full of fun, friends, and football! 🎉

- Open to Boys & Girls
- Recreational & non-competitive

The countdown is on! Join West Fargo Park District and Prairie Pup Bakery on Tuesday, June 9 from 5:30–7:30 PM at River’s Bend Park for an evening dedicated to our favorite four-legged friends.

Bring your pup and enjoy:
🌭 Free hot dogs, chips, and a beverage while supplies last
🍦 Free Birthday Cake Flavor Ice Cream made in-store by Prairie Pup Bakery for the first 50 dogs
💦 Dog pools and splash area
🎨 Fun dog-themed crafts
🐕 Rescue Showcase
🏅 Best Dog & Human Duo Contest

🎾 Immediate Need: Head Tennis Instructor 🎾

The West Fargo Park District is actively seeking a Head Tennis Instructor for our summer youth tennis program and is hoping to fill the position as soon as possible!

This role will lead K–8th grade tennis lessons for beginner, intermediate, and competitive players alongside assistant instructors. Applicants should have previous tennis coaching experience and knowledge of tennis rules, regulations, and gameplay.

📅 June 1 – July 24 (Monday–Thursday)
⏰ 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
💲 $25/hour
📍 West Fargo High School Tennis Courts

Thank You for Walking With Us! ☀️👟🌳

A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing seniors who joined us this morning for our 2026 annual Spring Walk in the Park at Elmwood Park!

Despite the hot temperatures, it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces come together for a morning of fresh air, movement, and community connection. We truly appreciate everyone who came out and helped make the event so special!

A special thank you as well to all of our wonderful vendors who showed up and helped make the morning a success!

Thank you for being part of another great year of A Walk in the Park. We loved spending the morning with you and can’t wait to see you again at future West Fargo Park District events!
